The position involves a variety of responsibilities, including addressing housing benefit inquiries, managing correspondence efficiently, guiding customers through the housing register application process, and offering advice on various housing alternatives. This dynamic, customer-oriented role ensures that each day presents new challenges and experiences.

JOB OBJECTIVE: To deliver a comprehensive housing options triage service to the public, primarily focused on preventing homelessness. This includes handling initial housing advice inquiries via telephone, written communication, and face-to-face interactions, while also providing administrative support to the Advisers and Team Leader.

The ideal candidate will be expected to work from an office location for a set number of days each week, with the remaining days being remote. Exceptional computer and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to address various inquiries from individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Familiarity with the Homelessness Reduction Act is beneficial but not mandatory.
