We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Engineer HVAC Specialist to join our team at Altrad. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical coordination of NNB equipment contracts on design/qualification dimensions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete technical management of procurement and manufacturing contract activities through the 3 key stages: Start of Manufacturing (SOM), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Shipment to Site.
  • Provide technical support to Project Manager during contract ITT stage, including quantification and design basis.
  • Compile and manage distribution matrix in conjunction with the Project Manager.
  • Compile and manage surveillance plan in accordance with Quality Requirement grades.
  • Engage with Direction Industrielle (DI) for manufacturing surveillance execution.
  • Manage Technical Issues during fabrication, such as Technical Queries (TQs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and design changes.
  • Liaise with Interface and Integration team and construction to establish specific material run-off requirements to meet site installation sequence.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience of construction of large multi-discipline projects, understanding of engineering design delivery, and cross-discipline relationships.
  • Experience of engineering design delivery, requirements, standards, handover, and quality needs, including use of 3D modeling environment.
  • Nuclear sector experience, ideally in new build environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data management.
  • Strong communication skills with team and external stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering (desirable).
  • Charted/Incorporated Engineer or working towards.
  • Understanding of PWR design and experience in PWR operations advantageous but not essential.
