HVAC Construction Lead Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Construction Lead Engineer to join our team at EDF EPR Engineering UK. As a key member of our Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC (MEH) program, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of HVAC activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package in accordance with the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee that safety is the overriding priority for any activity performed during pre-construction activities, including nuclear safety and industrial safety.
  • Plan and deliver HVAC activities in accordance with all safety, quality, time, and cost parameters to meet the needs of the project.
  • Implement the MEH L4 schedule (4 weeks and 16 weeks look ahead) and warn management in case of change and potential risks.

Requirements:

  • Qualified HVAC Engineer in erection/maintenance scopes with a background in preparation and execution of HVAC activities (duct and equipment installation) preferably in the nuclear sector.
  • Successful experience in project management would be an advantage.
  • A strong technical interest, particularly in the field of construction or maintenance of industrial installations, is required for this position.
  • A mastery of computer tools is essential, including manipulation of massive data under Excel, Power BI, and 3D modeling.
  • Knowledge of the EPR model would be an asset.
  • Fluent English is required for writing technical documents and daily exchanges (at least level B2).
  • French language would be highly advantageous.
  • Successful experience in multi-cultural and international projects would also be appreciated.
