Job Title: Construction Engineer HVAC

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Engineer HVAC to join our team at Altrad. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, with a focus on HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical management of procurement and manufacturing contract activities
  • Complete technical coordination of NNB equipment contracts on design/qualification dimensions
  • Ensure manufacturing activities respect design/qualification and technical specifications
  • Support the Project Manager on all design/qualification-related issues
  • Process all open points and modification requests with design impact
  • Propose solutions to design-related issues and curative actions
  • Inform TCO-Technical Lead of significant technical open points, exemptions, and NCRs
  • Oversee that manufacturing is performed in line with design and technical specifications
  • Ensure all applicable and applied manufacturing procedures are in line with design and technical specifications
Requirements:
  • Minimum HNC in an engineering discipline
  • Experience of construction of large multi-discipline projects
  • Understanding of engineering design delivery, requirements, standards, handover, and quality needs
  • Nuclear sector experience, ideally in new build environment
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and data management
  • Strong communication skills with team and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of nuclear quality and how nuclear quality is assured and controlled
Additional Qualifications/Experience:
  • Degree in engineering (desirable)
  • Charted/Incorporated Engineer or working towards
  • Understanding of PWR design and experience in PWR operations advantageous but not essential
  • Working knowledge of French language an advantage
  • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations
