Job Title: Public Relations Coordinator

Department: Marketing

Location: Lancashire (3 days a week in the office)

Salary: £22,500 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Conspicuous, a prominent entity in the retail industry, is on the lookout for a dedicated and motivated Public Relations Coordinator to become a vital part of their vibrant marketing team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to embark on a career in Public Relations and Influencer Marketing, providing assistance on a diverse range of engaging projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between Conspicuous and their PR agency, overseeing press office inquiries and incoming opportunities across all earned media platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside various teams to ensure that PR opportunities are fully leveraged across all channels.
  • Reporting: Consistently document and assess press coverage, compiling and distributing weekly PR and influencer reports.
  • Influencer Support: Aid in the recruitment of influencers and assist with influencer briefs to promote new products, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Internal Communications: Act as the first point of contact for store personnel regarding PR or influencer-related questions.
  • Marketing Communications: Support internal marketing campaign schedules, company-wide communications, and award submission assistance.
  • Administration: Oversee product requests, distribute influencer assets, manage contracts and photography usage timelines, process invoices, and coordinate meetings.
  • Task Management: Ensure all assignments are completed accurately and punctually.

Essential Skills:

  • Early career experience in PR or marketing, with a background in a PR agency or marketing environment and/or relevant qualifications.
  • A quick learner with a strong enthusiasm for marketing, PR, and influencer marketing.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective personal time management.
  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues, supplier agencies, and clients.
  • Proactive mindset, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Genuine interest in influencers and social media.
