Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Devon Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological support to women with severe and complex mental health needs during the perinatal period, and their babies and families.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to less experienced staff, trainees, and volunteers.
- Carry a specialist caseload of clients and provide advice and consultancy to patients and professionals.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice.
- Contribute to service development and evaluation by undertaking and supporting others to undertake audit and research activities.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and experience in clinical psychology. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist psychological support to women with severe and complex mental health needs during the perinatal period.
Person Specification- Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (or equivalent) and eligible for Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Status in the British Psychological Society.
- Registered with the Health Care Professions Council.
- Further training in at least one other psychological therapy.
- Further training or experience in Perinatal Mental Health.
- Further training in related areas.
- Experience of working with women with severe and complex mental health difficulties in the perinatal period.
