About the Role

As a Design Director at Wise, you will lead a talented team of designers in shaping the future of our multi-currency account product. You will play a pivotal role in defining the user experience and driving innovation within this critical area of our business.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to establish a shared vision for the multi-currency account, ensuring seamless integration across all touchpoints.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to designers within your squad, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design process from concept to implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with Design leaders across other squads to maintain a consistent and cohesive customer experience throughout the Wise platform.
  • Champion best practices in design thinking and user research, driving innovation and elevating the overall design maturity within the organization.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven track record as a Design Leader with a passion for creating exceptional consumer experiences.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring designers within a fast-paced environment.
