Job Title: Pediatric Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Consultant to join our team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to children and adolescents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality pediatric care, including acute and chronic conditions
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of our pediatric services, including service improvement and quality assurance initiatives
  • Provide teaching and training to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in clinical governance and audit activities to ensure high standards of care
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • MRCPCH or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working in a pediatric setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Higher degree, such as MD, MSc or PhD
  • Experience of teaching and training, with a recognized postgraduate qualification in teaching
  • Expertise in research and publication, with a strong track record of producing high-quality research
