Business Development Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Account Executive Grocery to join our team based across Central England. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving availability and secondary placements of Red Bull, building and developing customer relationships, and executing in-store sales drivers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing and managing coverage of key groups and stores to maximize opportunities within your territory.
  • Meeting with Area Managers, Regional Buyers, and Multiple Site Owners to ensure compliance of National Head Office Agreements and agree discretionary sales drivers.
  • Establishing effective working relationships with key stakeholders such as National Account Managers, Category Managers, Supply Team, and our 3rd party Field Sales agency.
  • Planning, forecasting, tracking, and reviewing sales performance and availability for all groups and stores.

Sales Drivers

As a Regional Account Executive Grocery, you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing availability of Red Bull at both Front-of-Store (Chilled) and Back of Store (Ambient). This includes:

  • Maintaining and increasing availability of Red Bull at both Front-of-Store (Chilled) and Back of Store (Ambient).
  • Ensuring Red Bull has its fair share of space in both the Soft Drinks and overall Sports & Energy category in store at both Front-of-Store (Chilled) and Back of Store (Ambient).
  • Agreeing incremental distribution of Red Bull products, maximizing the number of skus per store.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven sales skills with an ability and desire to sell.
  • A track record in achieving targets.
  • Negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • An analytical mindset, with an ability to utilize data such as category and financial insights to identify opportunities and have a strong commercial awareness.
  • Strong relationship-builder and ability to manage internal/external stakeholders.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and being out in the field.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Intermediate skills across Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Grocery Channel experience such as Retail Management, Field Sales, or other FMCG experience.
