About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Cyber Security team as a Senior Identity Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives and projects within our Cyber Security strategy.

As a Senior Identity Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and communicating the capacity and capability requirements of the team to respond effectively to evolving business requirements. You will also be responsible for proactively identifying and proposing IAM and Privileged Access Management (PAM) technical and operational control design improvements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the delivery of IAM initiatives and projects within our Cyber Security strategy
  • Identifying and communicating the capacity and capability requirements of the team to respond effectively to evolving business requirements
  • Proactively identifying and proposing IAM and PAM technical and operational control design improvements
  • Researching and applying solutions to new or existing risks to IAM and PAM
  • Providing technical and operational guidance on a wide range of IAM information technology security controls
  • Actively contributing to IAM and PAM security standards, procedures & guidelines, and best practices
  • Maintaining awareness of the technical environment enabling the business to proactively identify potential risks in security capabilities

We're looking for someone with a strong background in IAM and PAM, with experience working in a complex IT organization. You should have a good understanding of best practice within Information Security and risk management, including standards such as NIST, CIS, and OWASP. You should also have a good practical knowledge of security technologies and wider business solutions, including Identity and Access Management, remote working, and cloud technologies.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working and leading activities within a team
  • Previous experience working in a complex IT organization encompassing service delivery, application development, and IT infrastructure
  • Understanding of best practice within Information Security and risk management, including standards such as NIST, CIS, and OWASP
  • Good practical knowledge of security technologies and wider business solutions, including Identity and Access Management, remote working, and cloud technologies
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and drive innovation
  • Ability to be pragmatic while balancing the needs of the Bank against security
