  • Conduct final accuracy verifications on prescriptions

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Engage effectively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and patients
  • Support the training of pharmacy staff and students
  • Organize rota schedules and manage the pharmacy team's workload
  • Provide patient counseling and medication management
  • Adhere to Trust policies and uphold professional standards
  • Participate in service enhancement projects and audits
  • Maintain current professional registration

Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:

  • BTEC LEVEL 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Qualification in Medicines Optimization
  • Certification as an Accuracy Checking Technician

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Educational Supervisor qualification for Medicines Optimization
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience
