About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician with aseptic experience to join our team on a locum basis. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective preparation of medications for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Conduct aseptic procedures, including compounding and dispensing sterile products
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • GPHC registered
  • Previous experience of more than six months in a UK based Pharmacy setting
  • Further professional development, including ACT or MMT accreditations (desired but not essential)
  • NVQ or equivalent Pharmacy technician qualification
