Position Overview

As an Editorial Administration Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our global publishing teams. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of administrative tasks essential for the efficient operation of our journals. This position offers the chance to enhance your skills in data management and reporting while contributing to our strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organizing logistics for both virtual and in-person Editorial Board Meetings, including managing invitations and securing venues to ensure a professional experience for all participants.
  • Collecting and analyzing data from existing reports to assist publishers in creating proposals, reports, and preparing for editorial meetings.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and internal teams to contribute to Best Practice initiatives aimed at improving operational procedures and workflow efficiency.
  • Managing a variety of administrative tasks to support the publisher in the successful operation of our journals.
  • Maintaining various systems to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Effectively communicating with team members to keep projects on track and resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to provide consistent support to teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data management and an analytical mindset to derive insights from various data sources.
  • Capability to gather and present data clearly and effectively.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with a strong command of Excel and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • A collaborative spirit, eager to work with teams to deliver impactful projects.
