We are excited to present an opportunity for a Pensions Customer Support Specialist to join our team, focusing on our Pensions Helpdesk.

Your role will involve delivering top-notch customer service to members, employers, and third-party inquiries directed to our Helpdesk.


This position centers on addressing pension-related inquiries via telephone regarding public sector pension schemes managed by our organization, adhering to service level agreements and maintaining high standards in a dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Adhering to scheduled breaks, lunches, and dedicated coaching sessions.
  • Supporting service delivery by undertaking additional duties as required.
  • Assisting customers with pension-related telephone inquiries and making appropriate referrals.
  • Providing a flexible and responsive service aligned with business needs while taking ownership of individual inquiries.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Meeting and exceeding established quality and performance benchmarks.


Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in contact centers, particularly in high-volume inbound call environments.
  • Ability to maintain exceptional customer service skills while meeting challenging targets.
  • Capacity to acquire and demonstrate detailed knowledge of pensions after training.
  • Proficient IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications, such as Email and Excel.
  • Willingness to work flexibly to cover call center hours.


Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at Grade C or above.
