About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Support Officer to join our Supply Chain, Logistics & Transport Supervisory team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the Transport Manager with the day-to-day operational management of our fleet, including maintenance, repair, and replacement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operational work streams, projects, and the Fleet Replacement Programme.
  • Plan, organise, and proactively support the management and administration of complex projects.
  • Accurately record data for specific activities of work, including benefit recording, project plans, and reports.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including project or operational managers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Support the production of annual fleet replacement reporting into Welsh Government.
  • Ensure ongoing stakeholder liaison is maintained, both within Wales and internationally.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a sound knowledge of transport services and evidence of CPD in transport and logistics. Essential qualifications include a CPC in Transport to Oversee and Manage Operations License and a degree or equivalent relevant job experience. Desirable skills include the ability to drive a range of vehicles, patient-focused leadership, and effective staff management.
