Job Title: Study Programme Tutor

Company: LT Selection

Location: Bury Centre, with travel to Oldham and Accrington centres

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Study Programme Tutor to join our team at LT Selection. As a Study Programme Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students aged 16-18, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans and schemes of work
  • Assess and record student progress
  • Conduct one-to-one assessments with students
  • Participate in promotional events and activities

Requirements:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. CertEd, PGCE, CTLLS, DTLLS)
  • Minimum level 2 qualification in maths and English
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Study Programme
  • Knowledge and understanding of Functional Skills Subject Content
  • Previous experience of teaching to groups
  • Previous experience of delivering Employability Skills
  • Previous experience of delivering Functional Skills qualifications
  • Previous experience of working with 16-18 year olds
