Study Programme Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Study Programme Tutor to join our team at LT Selection. As a Study Programme Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training to our learners.
About the RoleThe Study Programme Tutor will be responsible for teaching and assessing learners on our Study Programme, which is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to progress to further education or employment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to the needs of our learners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality lesson plans and schemes of work that meet the needs of our learners.
- Assess and record learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their development.
- Conduct one-to-one assessments with learners to achieve the Employability Skills qualification.
- Participate in promotional events, such as careers conventions and open days, to showcase our Study Programme and engage with potential learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognized teaching qualification, such as CertEd, PGCE, or CTLLS.
- Minimum level 2 qualification in maths and English.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Study Programme and Functional Skills subject content.
- Previous experience of teaching to groups and delivering Employability Skills and Functional Skills qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
