About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Executive to join our team. As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities to meet sales targets. You will work closely with our New Business Director and Commercial Director to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and will be responsible for maintaining a full understanding of company processes, policies, guidelines, and contractual obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Negotiation and responsibility for the generation and closure of new business opportunities to meet sales targets
  • Growing sales pipeline and making cold calls to secure new sales opportunities
  • Working closely with New Business Director & Commercial Director on face-to-face client meetings, answering client queries, and providing relevant information to prospects
  • Work closely with the Client Services team in order to provide handovers to new clients and ensure they transition well into the agency
  • Maintaining a full understanding of company processes, policies, guidelines, and contractual obligations
  • Keeping up to date with the digital industry and company trends and developments

Requirements:

  • Strong B2B sales experience in a solutions or service-based industry, ideally digital marketing or e-commerce, but all consultative sales backgrounds will be considered
  • Excellent and demonstrable sales record, dealing with high-value services and blue-chip clients would be a distinct advantage
  • Commercially aware with an ability to maximize opportunities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and will be articulate with a high standard of written English and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage workload and priorities
  • Motivational and inspire trust, confidence, and enthusiasm
  • Polished, professional, and sophisticated
  • Maturity and gravitas to deal with and influence senior decision makers
  • Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
