Job Opportunity: Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs in Llandrindod Wells.
About the Role:
- Provide specialist support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and enabling them to make their own choices.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of service users, following care plans and guidelines.
- Participate in community activities, arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips, promoting a fulfilling and engaging lifestyle.
- Assist with varying levels of personal care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Requirements:
- No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.
- Must be resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Driver's license is essential due to the location.
- Comfortable with personal care and able to provide emotional support.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £26,477 - £26,926, including sleeps, with opportunities for overtime.
- Full-time hours per week, with one sleep per week.
- A permanent contract with a variety of shifts, including optional sleeps and weekends.
- Location: Llandrindod Wells.
