Assistant Service Manager Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as an Assistant Service Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and take on new challenges in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager and having joint responsibility for managing the team and the service. You will also be involved in planning rotas, managing staff teams, and ensuring compliance within the service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
  • Planning rotas, management of staff teams,
  • Ensuring compliance within the service.
  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensuring the safety of the service users.
  • Following care plans for each individual.
  • Taking service users out into the community.
  • Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements

  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
  • Senior Support Worker Experience
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
