Specialized Support Assistant for SEND/SEMH

Position Overview: The role of a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant for Outreach Programs focuses on providing tailored support to individuals with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

About the Role: Protocol Education is in search of a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The position involves working with young adults who have complex needs, ensuring they can access specialized further education through customized courses that include expert support and guidance.
Work Environment: The programs are delivered in various settings, including home environments, work placements, social activities, and leisure-based venues. Each program is meticulously designed to foster essential skills and support individuals' vocational journeys.
Personalized Approach: You will collaborate closely with students to incorporate their personal preferences and choices into their learning experience. The individualized programs may encompass a diverse array of activities, ranging from sports and technology to agriculture, culinary arts, and craftsmanship.
Requirements: As this position involves outreach, a valid driving license and access to a vehicle are necessary. Mileage reimbursement is provided at a rate of 35p per mile.
Working Hours: This role operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and includes 28 days of annual leave, which encompasses bank holidays.

Additional Information: All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for permanent opportunities in the future.
