Salary: GBP90 - GBP110 per day (based on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive SEMH Primary and Secondary school. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism and PMLD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work one-to-one with students with SEN needs, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs.
- Assist with the development of social skills and positive behaviour in a classroom setting.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students, contributing to assessments and reviews.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working one-to-one with students with SEN needs, particularly Autism and PMLD.
- Strong academic background.
- Minimum of 1 year working in a UK school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.
- Must be willing to undergo compliance checks and be available for an immediate interview.
