Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Special Needs Support Assistants. This role is essential in providing assistance to children and young adults with diverse special educational needs (SEN).

About the Role:
The successful candidates will work closely with students aged 5 to 18 who have a range of SEN, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, severe learning difficulties, and communication disorders.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to enhance their learning and personal development.
2. Assisting in the care and educational needs of students throughout the school day.
3. Collaborating with teaching staff to implement tailored learning strategies.

Qualifications:
While prior experience in special education is not mandatory, familiarity with a school environment is crucial. Candidates should possess:
- A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or a willingness to obtain one.
- Availability to work five days a week and a commitment to the role for a minimum of 1-6 months.
