We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Assistant Clinical Psychologist to join our health and social care integrated West Norfolk Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT) based in Kings Lynn.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a range of professionals and in a variety of settings, including day services, residential services, supported living, and in people's own homes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake assigned activities under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist
  • Work jointly with other professionals
  • Use a multi-disciplinary and research-led approach
  • Contribute to the work of the Community Learning Disabilities Team
About the Role

The Community Learning Disabilities Service has 5 integrated health and social care teams throughout Norfolk who support adults with learning disabilities.

As an Assistant Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to gain varied experience with presentations such as behaviour that challenges, anxiety, depression, dementia, bereavement, and other mental health conditions.

Key Requirements
  • Honours degree in psychology - 2:1 or above
  • Eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • Other related academic qualifications
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience of working with vulnerable clients
  • Relevant paid or voluntary work
