Position Overview:

The Business Systems Analyst II will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic initiatives within the organization. This position involves collaborating with key stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key users, process owners, and business leaders to analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Model and document both current-state and future-state business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement process enhancements and system upgrades that adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Prepare proposals for IT investments, articulating their value in both financial and strategic terms to leadership.
  • Optimize the use of existing business applications and technologies to fulfill business needs and maximize IT resources.
  • Conduct data analysis utilizing queries and ad-hoc reporting tools to support decision-making.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for application work instructions and training materials.
  • Deliver training sessions on supported systems and updates to ensure user proficiency.
  • Provide ongoing application support to key users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical application and data challenges, coordinating with third-party suppliers for advanced support.
  • Engage with users to assess information needs and functional requirements effectively.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support staff to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Adhere to the company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures in all activities.
  • Lead various projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; equivalent work experience is acceptable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, with additional knowledge of cloud technologies being advantageous.
  • Adept at analyzing complex systems and troubleshooting issues effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed organizational structure.
  • Extensive experience with ERP AS/400 (System i) and Infor XA (MAPICS), with a preference for candidates with 5+ years of experience.
  • Background in Discrete Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience with GxP regulations is advantageous.
  • Capable of articulating and advocating for technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with a deep understanding of translating customer business needs into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders in a complex environment.
