Position Overview:
The Business Systems Analyst II plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring that business requirements are effectively met. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to analyze and document processes and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key users, process owners, and business leaders to analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Model and document both current-state and future-state business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement enhancements to processes and systems that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Prepare proposals for IT investments, demonstrating their value in both financial and strategic terms to leadership.
- Optimize the use of existing business applications and technologies to fulfill business needs and maximize IT assets.
- Conduct data analysis utilizing queries and ad-hoc reporting tools to support decision-making.
- Create documentation for application work instructions and training materials.
- Deliver training sessions on supported systems and updates.
- Provide ongoing application support to key users, addressing technical issues and liaising with third-party suppliers as necessary.
- Engage with users to gather information needs and functional requirements effectively.
- Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams to ensure alignment.
- Adhere to the company's Global IT Policies & Procedures in all activities.
- Lead projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft products and familiarity with cloud technologies is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
- Significant experience with ERP AS/400 (System i) and Infor XA (MAPICS), preferably 5+ years.
- Background in Discrete Manufacturing is preferred.
- GxP experience is a plus.
- Ability to articulate and advocate for technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with a solid understanding of translating business needs into operational requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders in a complex environment.
