Job Title: Systems Analyst II

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements in collaboration with key users, process owners, and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement process improvements and system enhancements that align with Thermo Fisher Scientific's standards.
  • Prepare IT investment proposals and demonstrate the value of IT investments to business and IT leadership.
  • Improve the utilization of existing business applications and technologies to meet business requirements.
  • Perform data analysis using queries and ad-hoc reporting tools to inform business decisions.
  • Document application work instructions and training materials to ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Provide day-to-day application support to key users and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Communicate and collaborate with users to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
  • Liaise between the business, technology teams, and support teams to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and solve technical issues.
  • Experience with ERP AS/400 (System i) and Infor XA (MAPICS) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
