Job Description

Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Alex Young Recruitment Ltd. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing engineering-related projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for contractors, designers, and project managers for engineering-related queries, design information, and specification queries.
  • Liaise with the facilities team to coordinate, arrange, and provide access to areas under their control.
  • Work with the estates capital projects team, contractors, and designers to arrange and support investigations and surveys.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress and resolve any issues.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Electrical qualifications or apprenticeship with a proven track record in commercial maintenance and experience within projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex engineering-related issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
