About the Role

Harris Hill is pleased to partner with a prominent hospice in East London to find a dedicated Wills and Memorial Fundraising Coordinator. In this pivotal position, you will enhance and expand the legacy fundraising and memorial giving initiatives by overseeing campaigns and ensuring outstanding support for donors, fostering long-term relationships and commitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating and executing the legacy fundraising plan, with an emphasis on increasing awareness of bequests and encouraging individuals to consider the hospice in their estate planning.
  • Creating and implementing the memorial giving strategy, prioritizing exceptional support for grieving families and developing suitable campaigns, products, and events.
  • Gathering personal narratives and testimonials from donors to craft compelling case studies for fundraising materials.
  • Overseeing the legacy fundraising budget, ensuring all initiatives are conducted within financial parameters and achieve set objectives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external partners, including funeral service providers and will-writing organizations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in executing legacy and/or memorial fundraising initiatives.
  • Proficient in multi-channel marketing strategies for fundraising purposes.
  • Ability to handle sensitive communications with bereaved individuals with compassion.
  • Experience in managing projects within budget constraints and meeting established performance indicators.
  • Familiarity with the legacy administration process.

Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring a presence in the office for part of the week.
