About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audiologist to join our team at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As an Audiologist Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our audiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a broad range of routine and complex technical activities within audiology, working autonomously and taking a supervisory role as required.
  • Deliver technical work through skilled performance of a range of activities, including diagnostic audio vestibular service and paediatric service.
  • Formulate individualized care plans for individuals with hearing loss, working within inpatient and outpatient settings, acute and community audiology, and GP direct referrals for hearing aids.
  • Provide mentoring and line management support to junior staff.
Requirements
  • BSc Audiology or equivalent qualification, with successful completion of CCC clinical training qualification.
  • Registration with RCCP or equivalent professional body.
  • Up-to-date CPD portfolio and experience of working in a NHS Audiology department.
  • Experience in both adult and paediatric testing in diagnostic and rehabilitative areas.
