Audiology Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audiologist to join our team at the Countess of Chester Hospital. As a key member of our Audiology Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audiologist to join our multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of audiological services, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting, and tinnitus management. You will also have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from newborns to adults, and to develop your skills in areas such as paediatric audiology and audiovestibular medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality audiological services to patients, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting, and tinnitus management.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with hearing loss.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the development of new clinical pathways and the implementation of evidence-based practice.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in audiology, including a degree in audiology or a related field and registration with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPsG) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
