Audiology Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audiologist to join our team at the Countess of Chester Hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audiology services to patients across our region.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical skills and expertise in audiology. You will be working closely with our team of audiologists, scientists, and administrators to provide comprehensive audiology services to adults and children.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality audiology services to patients, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and tinnitus management.
- Work autonomously and take a supervisory role in a broad range of routine and complex technical activities within audiology.
- Formulate individualized care plans for individuals with hearing loss and work with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of audiology services, including the design and delivery of training programs for staff and students.
- Contribute to the development of the audiology department, including the identification of areas for improvement and the implementation of changes to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in audiology, with a degree in audiology or a related field. You will also need to have professional registration with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
