Audiology Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audiologist to join our team at the Countess of Chester Hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audiology services to patients across a range of settings, including community clinics and the hospital.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical skills and expertise in audiology. You will be working closely with a team of experienced audiologists, scientists, and administrators to provide comprehensive audiology services to patients with a range of hearing and balance disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality audiology services to patients, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and tinnitus management.
- Work autonomously and take a supervisory role in a broad range of routine and complex technical activities within audiology.
- Formulate individualized care plans for patients with hearing loss and work with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to implement these plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of audiology services and policies, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and students, and contribute to the training and development of the audiology team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in audiology, with a professional registration with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPsG) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
