Audiology Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audiologist to join our team at the Countess of Chester Hospital. As a key member of our Audiology Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical skills and expertise in audiology. You will be responsible for performing a range of technical activities, including diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting, and rehabilitation. You will also have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from children to adults, and to develop your skills in areas such as tinnitus management and hearing therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting, and rehabilitation.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Audiology Department to develop and implement new services and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and delivery of training programs and the development of new technologies.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our quality improvement plan.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in audiology, including a degree in audiology or a related field and registration with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
