Position: Building Surveyor (Social Housing)

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

Salary: Circa £44,000 per annum

Annual Car Allowance: £4,668

We are seeking a dedicated Building Surveyor to join our Property Investment team, committed to enhancing our customer-focused approach in managing and maintaining our property portfolio. In this role, you will oversee the execution of high-quality reactive and planned maintenance and improvement initiatives for our clients. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing issues, proposing suitable solutions, engaging with clients, and coordinating with contractors to elevate the condition of our property assets. You will also conduct general assessments of stock conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in the construction sector and take pride in managing diverse projects from inception to completion, ensuring we achieve quality results, value for money, and outstanding customer service. We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Building Surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced setting. Key Qualifications:

  • Practical experience in managing maintenance and improvement projects
  • Proven expertise in the construction or building surveying field
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients and contractors
  • Highly organized, capable of balancing administrative tasks with technical responsibilities
  • Confidence in utilizing internal IT and data management systems (training will be provided)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills, embodying the principle of 'One Team'
  • Experience within a Housing Association is advantageous
