Position Overview:
We are excited to announce an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This role is integral to our operations, supporting our mission to provide exceptional property and facilities management services.

Salary: Starting from £22,000 (dependent on experience) plus an on-call allowance.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Role Type: Mobile position.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess at least one of the following:
  • Demonstrated experience in a construction trade or facilities maintenance role.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driving license is mandatory.
  • Comfortable utilizing technology for job logging.
  • Availability for on-call duties.
  • Experience in the industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.
Compliance and Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Adhering to all health, safety, and wellbeing policies, as well as relevant technical guidance and statutory regulations.
  • Executing scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance tasks as directed, ensuring operational standards are consistently met. This may include basic maintenance activities, building fabric upkeep, plumbing, drainage, joinery, and general repair work.
  • Maintaining accurate site logbooks at all relevant premises.
  • Conducting risk assessments prior to undertaking maintenance tasks in accordance with established protocols.
  • Understanding fire risk assessment principles and implementing necessary precautions in the workplace.
