Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical-minded individual with a keen eye for detail to take their career to the next level. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine and reactive maintenance on processing plants at client sites.
The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a strong background in maintenance and repair. You will be required to travel to clients' sites, servicing and fault-finding processing equipment.
The role involves a range of tasks, including:
- Service and maintain mechanical and process equipment
- Local travel with occasional stays away
- Working in teams of two
- Working at height when required
- On-site engineering works, including steel cutting, drilling, and operation of machinery
- Mechanical assembly
- Manual handling
- Monday to Friday role with company van provided
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience as a fitter/technician
- Commutable to Horsham within an hour
- Full UK driving license
