Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team as a Senior Electrician - Property Maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various electrical projects, ensuring their successful completion within established timelines and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, assisting them in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, industry standards, and local electrical codes
  • Responsible for uploading receipts and keeping track of expenses
  • Collaborate with the office manager, clients, and contractors to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery
  • Train and mentor junior electricians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Keep on top of bookings and update job notes accordingly

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to safely operate electrical tools and equipment
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing
  • NVQ3 Qualification within the Electrical Industry is a must, – proof will be required
  • Valid driver's license
