A Pastry Chef is tasked with managing the pastry section of the kitchen to ensure an outstanding experience for Guests and Members while planning production and creating seasonal offerings.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Pastry Chef, you will oversee the pastry section of the kitchen, collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to provide an exceptional experience for Guests and Members. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the management of the pastry section. Ensuring top-notch quality across all dessert offerings. Injecting creativity into the pastry menu. Supervising and coordinating all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation. Planning production to meet daily needs. Developing suitable seasonal menu items. Managing food cost controls to enhance Food and Beverage revenue. Ensuring adherence to food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Pastry Chefs at Hilton brands consistently represent our Guests and collaborate with fellow Team Members. To excel in this role, you should embody the following qualities:

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef in a high-volume environment. A creative approach to pastry. Strong leadership abilities. A current, valid, and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required). A positive demeanor. Effective communication skills. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. High grooming standards. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Dedication to providing outstanding service and continuous improvement.

It would be advantageous for candidates to demonstrate the following:

Relevant qualifications for the role. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
