Position: Lead Manufacturing Engineer

As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer at SEGULA, you will be instrumental in the establishment of state-of-the-art powertrain assembly facilities for electric vehicle models and enhancements. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, suppliers, and vendors to uphold superior quality and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of new facility setups from conception to operational status
  • Design and refine assembly and testing methodologies
  • Conduct feasibility studies to address manufacturing requirements
  • Implement process quality planning and conduct build simulations
  • Assess manufacturing technologies for diverse applications
  • Resolve technical challenges and offer support to the engineering team
  • Facilitate program meetings across various levels
  • Meet equipment performance targets for new installations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management related to facility setup and product introduction
  • Proficient in IT and familiar with MS Office, CATIA V6, and relevant software
  • Background in assembly processes and machinery
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety Audits and risk management

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in validating facility systems and overseeing handover processes
  • Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Competence in Six Sigma or similar methodologies for problem-solving
  • Knowledge of MES, SAP, and control systems

Qualifications:

A degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline is preferred.
