Housing Officer Role Overview
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housing Officer to join our team at Bernicia. As a Housing Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent housing services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance to customers who are struggling to pay their rent and facing financial difficulties.
- Offer accurate information regarding their accounts and the range of payment options available to them.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely contact with customers and signpost them to relevant agencies for specialist debt and benefit advice.
Requirements
- Experience in a housing management environment with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of housing legislation.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages.
