IntraEdge is on the lookout for a dedicated and talented Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on enhancing our global Loyalty and Benefits platform. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.

Our state-of-the-art microservice-based platform aims to elevate customer experiences worldwide. Leveraging advanced technologies such as Java, Spring, Kafka, and Docker, this position provides ample opportunities for innovation and professional growth.

As a Software Engineer within an Agile Scrum team, your primary responsibilities will include developing and optimizing features within the Setup experience domain. Effective collaboration and knowledge exchange with fellow engineers will be crucial to ensure smooth integration across the platform.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven proficiency in a back-end programming language, preferably Java
  • Understanding of back-end microservice architecture and communication protocols, including REST and asynchronous messaging services (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience in a Scrum environment, focusing on delivering business functionalities and customer journeys with an emphasis on testing and automation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Professional experience in software development
  • Expertise in test-driven development, utilizing various testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with software engineering practices such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Knowledge of technologies including Kafka, Postgres, Spring, Docker, and Git
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration, deployment, and testing tools
