Job Summary

IntraEdge is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Java Software Engineer to join our team as a Senior Java Developer. As a key member of our Scrum team, you will be responsible for building and enhancing features in the Setup experience domain of our global Loyalty and Benefits platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java-based software solutions using modern tools such as Java, Spring, Kafka, and Docker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and best practices, and to drive innovation and growth within the platform.
  • Work closely with other Engineers to coordinate and implement features, ensuring seamless integration and communication between microservices.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to ensure effective team collaboration and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure thorough testing and validation of software solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java programming principles and best practices.
  • Experience with back-end micro-service architecture and communication, specifically REST and asynchronous messaging services (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Strong understanding of software engineering methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and continuous testing (CT) tools, such as Jenkins, Rally, and JIRA.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, SVN, and GitHub.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with Spring, Kafka, Postgres, Docker, and GraphQL.
  • Strong understanding of test-driven development, including unit, component, functional, system integration, and regression tests.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools, such as JIRA and Rally.
