Senior Java Developer Opportunity

K&K Social Resources & Development GmbH is a leading international recruiting agency providing technical resources in the European region since 1993. We are currently working with a client in the United Kingdom who is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join their team.

Job Description

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of enterprise-grade server-side applications using Java as the primary programming language. Your primary focus will be on interpreting business requirements and participating in application development and support.

You will perform ongoing refactoring of code, debug and fix issues, and ensure the application meets technical standards. Additionally, you will develop high-quality code that can be easily tested and works across all standard browsers and web platforms.

Requirements
  • Experience in developing enterprise-grade server-side applications with Java as the primary programming language.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, data structures, and algorithms, web services, REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, messaging systems like Kafka, and Solace.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools, ability to write unit tests, and perform operational support of applications.
  • Knowledge and experience in RDBMS concepts and databases like Oracle, DB2, and NoSQL concepts and databases like Mongo, Cassandra, and Couchbase.
