Community Services Directorate

Within this directorate, we deliver several critical services, including:

  • Community Domestic Abuse Support Services
  • Black Country IRIS (primary care) educator and advocacy service
  • Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Services
  • Black Country Counselling Service
  • Children and Young Person's Service for Domestic and Sexual Abuse
  • West Midlands Stalking Service
  • Ask Marc (Male abuse referral center)
Position Overview

The position of Regional Manager for Sexual Violence Services is situated within our Community Rape and Sexual Violence Support Service. This service is recognized as the largest specialist provider in the Black Country, offering support to victims and survivors of sexual abuse.

We provide assistance to individuals of all genders and ages who have experienced rape, sexual violence, or childhood sexual abuse, regardless of when the incidents occurred or whether they choose to report them to law enforcement.

Our Approach

Our dedicated team combines expertise with a deep understanding of trauma, ensuring that we deliver exceptional support to our clients. We prioritize proactive engagement to help clients navigate their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee the daily management of the service, ensuring compliance with contractual and quality standards.
  • Support the Director of Community Services in meeting strategic and operational goals across Sexual Violence Services.
  • Maximize resource utilization across all service areas to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled manager with:

  • Experience in staff management, risk assessment, and case management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, compassion, and a thorough understanding of the effects of sexual abuse and exploitation.
  • A proven track record of working with adults who have experienced trauma and abuse.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to understanding the experiences of victims.
