BHA for Equality is a prominent charity in the health and social care sector, dedicated to addressing health disparities and providing a variety of services aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
Our innovative Sexual Health initiative in Coventry and Warwickshire focuses on engaging with communities that experience significant challenges related to sexual health, including issues surrounding HIV, blood-borne viruses, and other sexually transmitted infections.
This initiative will operate throughout the region, collaborating with established clinics supported by our partners.
Position Overview:
The Community Engagement Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the project, which includes:
- Conducting community outreach and engagement activities across the region.
- Completing all necessary monitoring and evaluation tasks.
- Collaborating closely with our partners, including the LGBT Foundation and HCRG.
Qualifications:
Experience working with marginalized groups and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities are essential for this role.
