JOB OVERVIEW

As a key contributor to our operations, you will be instrumental in reducing equipment downtime, enhancing productivity, and ensuring the safety of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance the existing Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) System, implementing and following preventive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment reliability and reduce unexpected downtime.
  • Quickly address and resolve equipment failures and malfunctions.
  • Work closely with production teams to schedule maintenance tasks, aiming to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Engage with external service providers and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including expenses, repair logs, and equipment history.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities, machinery, and tools to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standards during maintenance tasks, including lockout/tagout procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Stay informed about industry advancements, best practices, and new technologies to improve efficiency and optimize equipment performance.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior maintenance personnel to enhance their expertise in plant maintenance.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a comparable role within a manufacturing or industrial context.
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance methodologies.
  • Strong technical acumen in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in utilizing various tools and equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities to tackle complex equipment challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with senior team members and external service providers.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in maintenance-related fields, such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional), is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards related to plant maintenance, such as ISO 9001.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
