Role Type: Full time / Permanent

Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to support our operations at the Devonport site. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the Royal Navy's Type 23 Frigates are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical contract activities for ship maintenance and repair
  • Coordinate with service providers and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
  • Assess and report on work progress and quality, identifying areas for improvement
  • Procure and manage materials needed for maintenance and repair

This full-time position is based at Devonport with 35 hours per week.

Required Experience:

  • Marine engineering background with experience in ship maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of marine propulsion systems and their maintenance requirements
  • Understanding of T23 Frigates and their technical specifications
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Required Qualifications:

  • HND/HNC in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience

Security Clearance: SC clearance required.
