About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily activities, clinical care, and companionship.
  • Work collaboratively with the service user's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated care plan.
  • Assist with medication administration and other clinical care requirements.
  • Support service users to engage in their hobbies and interests, promoting their overall wellbeing and quality of life.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience, including personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early, mid-day, and late afternoon shifts, as well as alternate weekends.
