About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centered care to service users with complex clinical needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and medication administration
  • Support service users in enjoying activities they love, including extending care outside of the home
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of working with complex conditions, including spinal injury care, acquired brain injury care, tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, and bowel management
  • Ability to work with a variety of care packages and adapt to changing needs
